Infant Teachers:

Erin Waller:  Erin has been a part of the Wee Wisdom team for 2 years.   She has earned 65 credits in Early Childhood Education from Herkimer County Community College and has worked in multiple child care settings.  Erin is also the proud mother of 2 of her own children.  She is certified in First Aid/ CPR and Medication Administration.

Young Toddler Teacher:

Alex Velush-Rogers:  Alex has a degree from Fordham University in English with several years of experience working with young children.  She is planning to take coursework in Early Childhood Education in the future.  She is First Aid/CPR certified and Epipen/Med. Administration certified.

Toddler Teachers:

Kate Wicklund:  Kate has been a member of the Wee Wisdom Team for 6 months.  She returned to the Danbury area after living in different parts of the country.  She has multiple experiences working with children in both camps and child care settings.  Kate is First Aid/CPR and Med. Admin./ Epipen certified.

Infant/Toddler Floater:

Kate Fielding:  We are excited to have Kate as a new member of the Wee Wisdom team.  She comes to us with a Bachlors Degree in Political Science from UConn.  She has worked as a lifeguard with children and at summer camps.  She is certified in First Aid and CPR.

Sonya Moore:  Sonya has experience working as a party coordinator for young children and completed child development courses in high school.  She will be attending Naugatuck Valley Community College in the Spring to study Early Childhood Education.  She is First Aid/CPR certified and Medication Administration/Epipen Certified.

Preschool Teacher/Director:

Kelly Debald:  Kelly has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology from Lock Haven University.  She also has a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lock Haven University.  Kelly taught Kindergarten for multiple years and was a nanny for young children before moving to the Danbury area having a total of 16 years of experience working with children.  She is CPR/First Aid Certified and Epipen/Medication Administration Certified.

Preschool Teacher/Director's Assistant:

Heather Hannigan:  Heather has completed ECE course work at Naugatuck Valley and Charter Oak.  Heather also completed the Child Development course at Danbury High School.  She is CPR/First Aid Certified and Epipen/Medication Administration Certified.

Day to Day Substitutes:

Sharon Gucker:  Sharon has raised two children of her own.  She has taken several workshops in Early Childhood Education and is CPR/First Aid Certified, as well as, Medication Administration/Epipen Certified.

Amy Oster:  Amy has a Bachlor Degree in Psychology from the University of New Haven.  She has experience working with children through group homes and babysitting.  She is CPR/First Aid Certified.
